Lori's Art Gallery was founded by Norm and Carol Redlich in 1972. They started in a small
store on Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills, California. Within a year they moved to a larger
store in a small shopping center of 40 stores. Six years later they moved again to a larger
store in the same shopping center. Within a year of their founding, they had several employees
to produce frames for art they sold and for custom framing for their customers.
In the 1980's Norm designed a web site and Lori's became an on line gallery as well as a full
service retail store front gallery. In 2005, illness struck and they were forced to close the
store front gallery, but they maintained their on line internet gallery. They have attracted
clients from all parts of the country and from overseas and many of their internet sales are
based on references from other customers.
On November 21, 2010 Carol passed away and Norm decided to continue the on line gallery by
himself. Most of the art on this web site is from the residual inventory they had when
they closed the store front gallery and are therefore priced far belong normal gallery prices.
Because of a severe hearing disability, Norm prefers to communicate using E=Mail. Phone calls
