R.C. Gorman's simple, expressive images of Navajo women and his skilled
use of color inspired by the changing atmospheric light of his magical high desert
country is known and admired worldwide.
He studied at Mexico City College where he was exposed to the Mexican artists
Rivera, Siqueiros and Tomayo who inspired him in his work.
