First and foremost, the word Toccare means "To Touch". A Toccare™ is built up with many layers of both color and texture.
Before Hessam gives approval to release a Toccare™, numerous visits are required by him to create the desired amount of texture. Therefore, Hessam's investment of time proofing and working on a Toccare™ is far greater than any other limited-edition release. The process begins with serigraphy to build texture and then the image is created by color glazing onto the aluminum board.
As Art is all about Light, the Toccare™ method of layering color on an aluminum brushed substate, creates a distinctly vibrant luminosity not available in other mediums.
Due the complexity of the process, Hessam's Toccares™ are printed in small editions with special attention being paid to detail and quality.
